Born into a life of crime, Nicky Paws was raised by a family of raccoons until age 8 when he found himself travelling, alone, to the big apple - New York City. Scared, illiterate and without direction, Nicky Paws taught himself to read and write, helping him to locate an ad recruiting circus performers. due to his childhood, this was his big break! he joined the Coney Island circus and became a favorite of many.

Awarded by Mayor Giuliani, on various accounts, Nicky Paws recieved the key to the city in 2000 at the age of 10. Known as one of the most successful circus performers of all time, dating back to ancient aztec times, Nicky Paws was sought by other carnies and with a bounty on his life, had to flee the country for sake of his very safety.

Nicky Paws began to travel distant countries, however, primarily resided within Egypt where he was one of the main contributors to locating and successfully extracting the DNA of King Tut-Anhk-Amen, realized as one of the greatest finds of the 21st century.

With world-reknown fame and unending fortune, Nicky Paws fled to Asia to conquer the great Mount Everest, naked. after 18 months of preparation and an additional 2 months en-route, Nicky Paws became the first human to navigate Mount Everest in the nude with only flint and knife. after this he invested all of his fortune into miniature cellular phones the size of a small candy, of which society never caught up to and afterwards, he lost his fortune.

Returning to the United States homeless, bankrupt and a has-been carnie he was looked down upon but in the past two years he has begun to win over america’s hearts once again with his underground rap-battle tactics.

Many historians believe he will rise again.

Konichiwa! Many moons ago i decided to start myself a little clothing brand initially named monster, however, recently rebranded, is now Nick Pawson Clothing, or NPC.

Since my first date with a little angel i like to call Wacom, i've learned the in's and out's of the textile market and i've been slowly improving myself and my brand to accept and evolve not only with the current trends, but also to what makes a plain 'ol short-sleeve tee shirt unique and prized in the eye of the consumer.

I'm always learning new things and i love when i do. I've began to design websites, kind of like the one you're struggling to read this on and probably wondering why i would put small white text on top of this vibrant background!? Well, let's keep that my little secret. I've actually taken a pretty big step away from textiles for the time being and instead, moved to a more graphical, binary medium. I figured this is because of my own personal changes. Instead of wearing graphic tee's out and around i find myself wearing something more and that brings me to the conclusion that if i'm not truly passionate and live by what i make, how can i guarantee what i make comes from somewhere within? Can't. Despite the fact, i still do yearn to create those perfectly balanced tee's for any occasion - fresh and crisp out the package down Rodeo, smelly and wet. You can view some of the other websites and graphics i've worked on within my Folio.

I went to the University of the Arts for Acting (what i really want to do with my life), but dropped out after sophomore year to move to Los Angeles, which i did and LA is where i currently reside.

I love my life right, i mean, everyone has roadblocks and some people despise them, but c'mon now, without hardship how are you going to learn and become weathered to the ever-changing world we live in? I accept hardship as just another opportunity to do something, whatever that something is. Sometimes it really sucks, like working three part-time jobs just so you can eat Oatmeal for EVERY MEAL over the course of a couple weeks. < That one is true and the crazy part is, i loved the oats each and every time the goo slid across my tastey-buds.

I'm going to keep doing me.
Much love,
NP
